Pro-Tech Manufacturing Tour

CNC Punching

High volume part stamping is achieved by (8) High-Speed CNC machines, with a maximum capacity of 30 metric ton. Each CNC machine is programmed via a downloaded fabrication program based on the original design and multiple tools are loaded into the indexing carousel head for maximum throughput and minimum handling. An extensive inventory of tools are maintained on-site and new tooling can be developed to minimize fabrication costs on custom designs.

We have a huge number of pre-made tools to choose from or you may have your own custom tool developed. Calculations and punching patterns are made with computers to insure precision of the punching process.

Cutting tools are installed into each puncher in carousels that rotate during the punching process.

Metal blanks are fed into the machine and punched with the selected tools.

The finished sheet is removed from the puncher so that the pieces may be removed and sent on for forming.

There are currently four CNC punching stations so that a large volume of work can be handled at once.

After a job is punched, it is taken to the Fabrivision where it is electronically lined up with the original design documents and checked for accuracy. Any problems will be fixed before any further progress is made. This insures a precision fit of the finished pieces.
