We have (4) independent welding stations that preformed continuous welding of the workstation seams. Welding fixtures are utilized for common designs to increase throughput, reduce costs and improve quality. Automating spot-welding machines are used for some operations. Plans for robotic welding arms are in place for 2003.

All operations are controlled by computer.

Small items can be spot welded with a blowtorch and larger ones are welded with a machine that allows the operator to guide the product with both hands.

The metal is cut with tabs so that it fits together like a puzzle. This insures that nothing slips when it is being welded.
